What to Expect & How to Prepare for Your Reading
Whether you are booking a mediumship reading or a psychic reading, the best thing you can do is come with an open mind and allow the session to unfold naturally. Every reading is different, and information may come through as feelings, images, memories, personality traits, emotions, symbols, or intuitive impressions.
In a mediumship reading, the focus is on connecting with loved ones in spirit. I will share the evidence, details, memories, and messages that come through as clearly as I can. While I cannot guarantee who will come forward, I always set the intention for the reading to bring through what is most meaningful and supportive for you.
In a psychic reading, the focus is on your energy, current situation, and the guidance surrounding what you are experiencing. This type of reading is not about predicting your entire future, but rather offering insight, clarity, and perspective around what is coming through intuitively.
How to Prepare
Before your session, try to give yourself a few quiet minutes to settle in. You do not need to meditate for an hour or do anything complicated, but it can help to take a few deep breaths, clear distractions, and be present for the reading.
For mediumship readings, you are welcome to think of your loved ones in spirit before the session, but you do not need to “force” a connection or give me too much information ahead of time. Let spirit bring through what they want to share.
For psychic readings, it can be helpful to have a topic or question in mind. Try to keep your question open-ended instead of asking for a strict yes or no. For example, instead of “Will this happen?” you might ask, “What guidance is coming through around this situation?”
Helpful Tips
Come with an open mind, but also use your own discernment. Not everything may make sense immediately, and sometimes details connect after the reading.
Choose a quiet space where you feel comfortable and will not be interrupted.
Have water nearby, and feel free to take notes if you want to remember specific messages or details.
Be honest if something does or does not make sense, but try not to over-explain or feed too much information during the reading.
What Not to Do
Please do not test the reading by intentionally withholding all feedback, trying to trick the process, or expecting one very specific person, answer, or outcome to come through. Readings work best when there is openness, respect, and a natural flow of communication.
Please do not book a reading in place of medical, legal, financial, mental health, veterinary, or other professional support. Readings are meant for spiritual insight, reflection, comfort, and guidance, not professional diagnosis or decision-making.
Most importantly, come as you are. You do not need to be “good” at receiving a reading. My goal is to create a calm, respectful space where the information can come through clearly and you feel supported throughout the experience.
